Month 6 of 12
Faith in the dark
Holding belief, doubt, and prayer together.
This month's theme
Loss can shake the ground beneath your faith. Prayers may feel like they hit a ceiling. The God you knew before may feel quiet, far, or even unfair. This month is not about pretending the dark isn't dark. It is about learning that faith is not the absence of doubt, it is the willingness to keep showing up, even with empty hands. You are allowed to be angry. You are allowed to whisper instead of sing. You are allowed to sit in a pew and cry through the whole service. God is not afraid of your questions. He is not asking you to have it all figured out. He is asking to stay.
Three soft prompts
Sit with one. Or all three. Or none today. They will wait for you.
What is the hardest thing you wish you could say to God right now, without softening it, without apologising for it?
When prayer feels too heavy, what is one small, wordless way you can still turn toward Him today (a breath, a candle, a song, a walk)?
Where, even faintly, have you sensed that you are not alone in this, through a person, a verse, a moment, a comfort you can't explain?
This stays only with you, on this device. Nothing is sent or saved.
Affirmation
“My faith does not have to be loud to be real. I can doubt and still be held.”
